Good luck in your continued search. I bought my LX the day it was listed last summer. Local MB dealer had it as a trade and I swung by that day to grab it. '07 with 49,000 miles - it was going to go quickly. I'm finally getting around to selling my 80 and I just put in on Bend CL over the weekend.

Don't discount the LX. I think you'll find many more options.

I hear ya. I've tried but I can't get over the LX470. Not opposed to Lexus and would enjoy all the offerings if not for the front end/quad light setup. I'm going out of the country until the 24th, so until then, I'm suspending my search since I don't have the time to act prior to my departure.
That said, I can't help but look. Three more I'm pondering...

Thanks @mcewan13 it's a good looking rig. I'm still trying to find a vvti in decent shape first. If the search proves unfruitful, I'll expand to the 2003-05. How many miles are on it? Why are you going to the GX470?

Thank you sir. I like the VVTI but i'm not too keen on the AHC, so '03-'05 are the sweet spot for me. My gray one has ~86k or so on it at the moment. My wife uses it as her DD. I'm interested in the GX470 bc of the slightly smaller and lighter package with the same powerplant. I have a FJ40 for trail runs, so the idea of a peppier ride and better gas milage on long road trips is appealing.
