1960 Toyota Landcruiser - Diesel engine Fully Restored showroom quality

I spent way too long crafting a thread on this and then lost the post, pics and number saved for posterity. Anyone else see what they did here? Clues are in the pics.

Those Colombians are true artists. Gotta love the drywall screws run straight through the emblems !

Did the picture show anything that could be sure was on a FJ25? Just using my phone I couldn't tell if the frame was from a 25 or not. Tub is clearly 79 40 series or later.

Yeah, the front fixed spring perch is definately 25. The little rectangular plate is to fix the 25 pin from rotating without the retaining bolts. The spring pin in there is from a 40 with the top edge ground off. The newer steering perch is bolted on. Other than the frame I see nothing that is from a 25. No close up, but I'd bet those bumper brackets are also bolted on.

Ya'll haters are just jealous of the "showroom quality."

The only lesson I take away from this ad is that the bidders are ignorant, and as witnessed by the sinful sale of the $180K LV recently, that LIES sell vehicles!

Time to sell is now before a real check is made of what to look for. To most a early cruiser is something most know nothing about and good write up with new paint drives the price up.

That would be a lot for a south american diesel 40 too.

It seems that most bids on Ebay are fake and probably put there by the seller anyway to give the impression of many interested buyers.

Funny how all these trucks with high bids get relisted time after time .

It ended being sold to someone in the Phoenix area. A CSC member who works for a local dealership asked if I ever heard about it.
