I have a full set of original 62 springs that you are welcome to the fronts if you need.
If you just want a pic of the full set as a reference let me know.

So i have my old winch solenoids, i understand i can use those, do yo have a wiring diagram by any chance?

Thanks man, i have those rear springs that i don't know if I'm going to use or not (the cheap ass in me says yes since i have them and ill just yank leafs out). The difference between the fj 60 and 62 springs are just the leaf thickness correct?

Probably no difference...

Cool thanks for the pic. If i decide to run the cruiser springs ill get in touch with ya since its always good to have some sets of spare leafs laying around.

John your right the 2f weighs close to 2x's more than the 3.4.

switching voltage positive to a power source. Either ignition or constant depending on it you want it to run with the key off or not. switching voltage negative to a fan switch in the coolant jacket. I have one that turns on the low side at 190 and one that turns on the high side at 210.
switched voltage in to a big honking fuse to a power source. Switched voltage out to the fan, either high or low, depending on what you want.

This video has switched power for the fans that I would not do, and another relay for AC, which you do want if you want to run AC.

For the latest iteration of the pig I bought a kit with big constant draw relays, the fan switches and wiring.

personally, I would stick with the stock mechanical.

Yea after looking at that and being the electrical tard i am, i may just swap out the fan clutch. 8 bolts is easier than messing around with wiring, solenoids and burning the truck down (on accident) on a future date

I did the Taurus fan in the 60 I had.
If I can do it, you can, Geoff...I'm the worst at wiring.

But I concur with the Gum that stock fans work the best and longest.

"Geoff your truck is steaming, did you turn your fan on"?

LOL! The truck damn near overheats on the trail now, i figured it was a fudge packed radiator not so! In the mean time I'm going to need to keep a full time tony with me until i get the clutch fixed.

Run a screw through the clutch. Mine overheated bad in Washita PYS2. Fixed it with a screw through it and was blasting a/c the rest of the trip with no problems.

Did u just use a self tapping sheet metal screw?

I think woody happened to have a drill/bits and wood screws that I used

Not sure if it fits, but I have a spare 7M fan clutch. I happen to know that the 5vz fan clutch ran me about $100 aftermarket

I have a good tundra clutch. It's yours if it works...

Since we are all offering fan clutches up, you can help yourself to my pile of 22re fans and clutches, I have at least 6.

I also have what looks like a taurus fan in my attic. It actually came with the house... but since it is still sitting next to the small tonnau cover, im thinking it may be a ranger fan??? But I have no idea....
