I'm sure its somewhere on the board, but search skills aren't making it happen.
I want to clean the wood trim on my Land Cruiser, I tried using a concentrated wood soap, but it didn't really bring back the luster I thought it would. Is this actually wood? I'm thinking its a laminate or something, Would pledge be bad? I've read that it is not advised in the past on real wood.

I don't think it will hurt. Your wood trim is a heavy layer of plastic with a little bit of wood veneer. you will have the same luck wiping it with a wet towel.

In my one experience with using pledge it did clean the wood but it also left a satin glaze over all of it. I wiped that off with a damp microfiber towel to get rid of it and it looked fine after. But since then I haven't used any cleaners other than a little Simple Green and a microfiber cloth.

If you have carnuba wax, use that. When I finish waxing my truck, i always use a little on a microfiber towel on all the wood. It takes off all the junk and leaves a nice little shine to it.
