I have searched and found only a few online stores for used and/or new LC parts..

And on a side note, DAMN some of the OEM parts are expensive.. For example, the little plastic cover for the roof rack is $80! (I have a BMW too and thought that was bad..)

If anyone has a list of placed to get used or new LC parts, that would be greatly appreciated!!

New - CruiserDan off this forum (he's a Cruiser parts guru at American Toyota in NM and gives a great Mudder discount).

Used - cruiserparts.net or car-parts.com. Cruiserparts is obviously Cruiser specific, but they don't have much in the 100 series.

TAP Recycling is a Toyota only junkyard in CA. Their prices suck but they have stuff.

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market also is a listing of junkyard across the US and you can search for Cruiser parts there. Sometimes there are deals, other times there are not.

Toyota of Dallas Genuine Toyota Parts and Accessories wholesale to the public. offers similar discounts (same/sometimes better/sometimes a smidgen more) to Cruiser Dan at American Toyota. I use them when Dan is unavailable as nobody else at American Toyota will hook you up with his prices. They are also a MUD vendor.

You guys rock, gotta love this forum!
Thank you!

You didn't say whether or not you are stateside. TRDparts4U.com is easy to order on line and gives discounts for TLCA members. I've been using them since my favorite Toyota parts guy and friend in Las Vegas left :crybaby:.

FYI: TRDparts4U is a division of Dallas Toyota.

Hmm.. I have checked all the sites provided.. Some have a few used parts (like seats, light assembly, etc), some have new parts but not much OEM (for example, if you search for "roof rack". you get a list of aftermarket racks..

I have filled out a few online forms detailing what I'm looking for; we'll see..

Still, Cruiser has been around forever, why aren't there more store with all OEM parts for a discounted price.. (lots of them for BMW..)

Keep em coming!

I buy mines from toyota local dealer.I dont need to pay inmediattly: pay when pieces arrive>they are quite cheap.
Example: original brand new cluster:$60 dollars.
Mine is a cluster for brazilian make "BANDEIRANTE", good looking almost like the original japanese one but plastic made.I can take a picture for you tomorrow if interest.

The point is: why don you buy directly to the toyota brazilian dealer as i do via local toyota dealer?

Are you saying that you're buying parts manufactured by aftermarket vendors for your LC at your local dealership?

I'm in San Diego, CA, US by the way.

Thanks!

Buy from CruiserDan. He'll not only give you a great price but is knowledgable about Cruisers and can remind you of parts you might not have thought of to include in your order (bolts for the roof rack, for example).
