Finally got my SOA completed, (enough to drive) and noticed that the clearance from the spring pak to the pitman arm grease zerk on the drag link is tighter than I'd like it to be. I would imagine that installing a bump stop adjusted so that it would dissallow contact is ONE fix.
Any other "tricks"? ???

what pitman arm?

The scout arm has more length/drop and switching to a flatter arm can help. I run a "custom" bumpstop located just ahead of the arm/drag link on the frame....the spring contacts that bump stop prior and keeps the pack clear....tho it could "kink" the pack at that spot, I've yet to note any problems.

All saginaw arms from GM/Scout/etc will work...IIRC, the Camaro arm is about 6.5" long and pretty flat.
