Yep, backed into a rock and flattened the rear brake hardline that runs behind the panhard mount. Was planning on relocating it, now I have my chance :D

Since I will be bending it anyway (not running it in stock location to get mashed again, do I really need a OEM piece, or can a good brake shop just do what I need?

Thanks.

Do it yourself. Autozone has the brake line for $5 and you can borrow their bender.

you can buy sections with the correct ends in all lengths from 6" to about three feet at vatozone, checker, etc.

Thanks for the input, will head to the parts store.

Not to step on any toes, but if you opt not to go custom, I have some extra brand new OEM rear axle lines that I didn't end up needing.

You have PM. No toes being stepped on :D

I'd still go to the brake shop. They might have some knowledge that even some of the members on here might not have about routing brake lines. However, if $$ is a problem, as it is for pretty much everybody, go to the parts store. :meh:

Nay,

I had the same issue. This was my solution. I vote to fix it yourself..

smashed brake line fix

I can't see pics at work but it isn't there when I get home I'll fix it.
