I saved a 55 from the wrecker's crusher- Too cool to go to scrap. I was told it was a 77, but now it seem to be older than that, with the three on the tree, square corners on the windshield, and air vents by the doors. I'm also wondering if the engine is stock or not? Any advice will help. I also have lots more pictures if it helps, but I cant load any more on. Here is my other post with pictures-https://forum.ih8mud.com/parting-out/372206-fj55-saved-wrecker.html

Cool a Pig with Gull Wing doors

Is there still an ID plate on the driver's door jamb? Should have a manufacture year on it. Looks like a 71 or so. My '72 had the 3sp on the floor and both vents were functioning on the sides of the engine compartment. I don't think that engine is the original though, if it's a 1.5F that would make the engine around a '74, but the 55 is definitely older than a 73. No vents in the rear quarter panels.
