Pictures of Switchpro control pad mounting locations?

Does anyone have any pic's of the circuit board/relay placement? I saw Eric Sarjeant installed beside the radiator/battery. Not sure if it fits above the fuse box, or on the new Slee accessory panel.

I like how @radman mounted his. Check out the big bad rad dad thread. He put it under the Slee compressor tray, which is a great way to use space. Builds - The Big Bad Rad Dad LX Build - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/the-big-bad-rad-dad-lx-build.1208847/post-13682587

I had gotten hung up on the vertical mounting requirement, but I suspect upside down like he did it would also prevents water intrusion...

On my last build I modified a Powertrays Tacoma tray, but it made accessing the air box a hassle.

On my current build I have the Slee accessory tray and there is definitely room for it (I have it mocked up, but not installed yet). The upside of this location is that it has lots of room for other related items like ground bus, etc).

The SD HQ mount is behind the fuse box towards the cab. I mounted mine “normal“ and have not had problems. I do like how Radman mounted his.

I think the mounting points for the sqhd mount use the same threaded holes in the body that the Slee compressor mount uses so they may be mutually exclusive.

do you mean you can have the SQHD or the Slee mount? either or? I have both mounted where they were intended; dont remember making any modifications to make it work

Yes, either one or the other because they use the same mounting location, but it sounds like I am wrong.

Here are a couple of additional mounts that are on the market now and worth adding to this thread for future reference:

—-

Slee Dash Mount
-requires some trimming of the dash insert, but the location seems very convenient and ergonomic.

SDHQ Replacement Dash Keypad
-from what I can tell, this is a 3D printed keypad that replaces the OEM unit; it deletes the ID card holder and rearranges the switches in order to mount the SwitchPros keypad. Appears to be reversible with no permanent modification to the dash, unless I’m missing something.

Not the control panel, but an alternative location for the main unit. It's weather protected from cowling overlap, close to cable runs and not in a bad heat zone.

I really like the SLEE dash mounting bracket but did call them about fitment for prior year 200 models, pre-2016, and they can not guarantee fit but stated it shouldn't be that bad. I am sure it isn't "too" bad of a mod in there but wondering if anyone has done this to earlier than the 2016 models with the SLEE mount?

I have to make sure all the sales staff have the same info, but the panel that needs to be trimmed is the same on all the years. So it should not be a problem on the earlier trucks.

Has anyone placed the Switch-Pro to the right of the steering wheel on LHD vehicles? If so any pictures?

Thanks, I know about that position but was thinking in a horizontal orientation above the existing switches using the SOK2013 bracket.

Sorry, that definitely wasn’t clear from your post. Look at the installation instructions on the SOK2013. The bracket just screws into the bottom of the dash panel, so I don’t see why you couldn’t do it on the right side as long as there’s enough room as that’s a smaller width and you’d be blocking a portion of the camera view button on certain models.

Sorry for confusion. Yeah, because of line of sight interferences was I guess why I was hoping for some pictures if others have done it. One big issue is the reversibility (if it doesn't work out) is much more expensive, the cutout in panel would be to the full steering/knee surround panel, not just the switch insert panel used on the left side.
