Cool. That's another good option. Have you had any issues with hitting that with your knee or when getting in / out of the truck?Using their included switch mount.![]()
Not at all. Chose this location over the sunglass holder because it's just way more convenient. We use our lights (and soon our other accessories) very often, so wanted the switches to be as accessible as all the regular buttons.Cool. That's another good option. Air compressor, rear locker, rear work light inbound. Not sure what else we'll add over time, but there's definitely room for growth with eight positions and multiple functions within each switch.Agreed.
You gotta get those other switches labeled and connected
If only it was that easy since the labels get $$ $$$ $$$$

I really wish switchpro had more than 2 inputs. Pretty much everything that I want to do needs an input to build logic gates. it's such a slick system but the limited inputs kills it for me. I'll keep wishing real hard and maybe they'll add some.
LOL, liking the geeking out with the logical AND (&&) and exclusive ORs (XOR). Forgot where I was for the moment LOL.

Can you provide more detail on how the Switch Pro was mounted in this location?Using their included switch mount.![]()
I'd love that location as well. I think it was a one off by Dissent?
Thanks for the feedback. I will be mounting my SwitchPro the same way.Pop off that panel, bolt the stock switch pro mounting bracket to it. Make sure you use washers. Couldn't be simpler.
i am using the ARB LINX with the sPOD Bantam. I don't know that it is the best combination but it does allow some of what you are looking for. It has some down sides but you might look at it.Most all of my outputs are at least conditional based on a multiple sources. If high beams && switch is on turn on aux driving lights (I think that Switchpro can do this but couldn't see it explicitly in the manual). But I have more than 2 of these. And then I have more complex scenarios, like being able to use the stock fog light switch to control the fog lights as stock but also turn them on with the aux driving lights (a modification of the approach you have previously documented around replacing the stock relay). Or reverse a negative ground circuit. Automated control of air bags. In some cases I want the output of one as an input of another. Etc.
So generally these are pretty simple AND or OR. Sometimes XOR. I just have more than 2. In my FJ-62 I built this type of logic with physical relays for simple cases (chaining output of one relay to the trigger of another). In more complex cases I used a Phidgets analog to USB board connected to my CarPC and just wrote the logic in C# (as well as things like data logging an displaying primative FI components like my Split Second AFM to MAF conversion and J&S knockguard). My wideband had a separate dedicated input that I had to thunk down to C to display A/F near real time in my UX (the over the wire protocol was either nibble or 6 bit base packets, can't remember now, but needed to mask and shift to extract the values).
