What a blast! This was my first organized wheeling event and I couldn't have had more fun. The CMCC was the perfect combination of getting to test the limits of our vehicles and then getting to hang out with great bunch of people. I'm definitely going again. But you know what they say about pictures...

We had to arrive and set up.

Beer may have been involved.

Thanks for the pics. It was another great CMCC.

So who's up for the Pig Run in August?

The next day, everyone had to get registered and get organized. Tires lost some air, drivers got directions, and we got into our group. Burl was our top-notch trail leader with Chris riding shotgun and playing spotter, followed by Tom and Elaine, Steve with his friend Andy, Sourbeer, Dan, Charlton, Dale from N.C., and I was ecstatic to have Mark Algazy riding with me.

Mark noticed that Tom's engine mount was loose, and Burl dove under to tighten it up lickety-split...

excellent pics Bart

Thanks Bart for posting. Looks like I missed a good time.

Looks like a lot of fun with the usual ragtag group. I'm sorry to have missed it.

I think Tom has learned one of my tricks....

You just say "hmm...I guess I will need to try and fix that on my truck. Hey Burl, do you have a wrench that I can tighten up this bolt with"

Burl then proceeds to hop under the truck and fix it.

I'm glad that he was shirtless in most of the pictures. I almost didn't recognize him right before dinner with a shirt on :grinpimp:

looks like a good time!!!

Tom - next time I need to be picked up last minute at the airport, can you come get me?

Hey all. It was great getting to see y'all again at CMCC. I surprised myself by remembering virtually everyone's name from last fall. That doesn't happen very often.

As mentoned, a big shout out goes to brother Tom for stepping in at the 11th hour to pick me up at the airport. I literally had no idea what was happening until my cellphone went off in Dulles on the way to the baggage claim. How cool is that?

And of course, if I'd known what a shack Tom and Elaine have, I would have invited myself over a lot sooner.;p

Traveling to and from the event with Bart turned out to be quite the excellent experience as well. I don't think he minded the company either. Of course Bart was a little more surprised by the Thornton camp at Rausch than I was, having already witnessed what Tom and Elaine consider 'roughing it' when I was out for Fall Crawl. And with Elaine there this time, it kinda went without saying that the Thornton camp was THE place to be. REALLY sorry I didn't get to camp out with you folks as well.

Last but not least, John Smith, you are on notice that next time I show up, I WILL WHEEL YOUR TRUCK!:grinpimp:

BEST wishes to all, and thanks again for a great trip.

Fall Crawl

Great pics. Had great time wheeling and seeing some old freinds, and meeting some new ones. Hope to get back up there this fall.
