as many do I go through craigslist late at night sometimes. I always keep a lookout for a clean 80 or 100. By luck I ran across this one and it was in great shape inside, out, ran great and had full service history. They even took it in for little things like aiming headlights. Only real evidence of use is the steering wheel but will recover or swap the wheel.

Picked up some 18" tundra wheels for the LX a few years back and will probably pick some up for the LC shortly. A lift, bumper and sliders will hopefully be added down the road. Very excited to have found a clean 100 I can slowly build up.

Nice find. What year exactly? How many miles? In the market myself, may I ask how much you landed it for?

Thanks, its a 2000 with about 250k on it. Owner used it to travel from Denver to his lake house on Lake Michigan multiple times a year so its almost all highway miles. Picked it up for 6k but with all the service its had it drives like and looks like a 50k mile truck. I looked at multiple ones with mileage ranging from 150k-250k and it appears most people just beat on these without doing much maintenance so saw this one and bought it on the spot.

Just got myself one just like it, 197k all records, pristine except standard wear on drivers seat for $9800.

Clean and simple. I dig it.

Still can't believe the state of the leather. Nice find!

Nice truck, nicer supra.

Nice truck, nicer supra.

thanks, I was lucky enough a few years back to find a stock low mileage TT 6-speed. I have tried to keep the mods to a minimum but its just so easy to pull power from those motors. part of reason of getting the 100 was to get myself to leave the supra alone.

from a few weeks back with the local guys.

aside from getting the cruiser registered had not had time to do much but popped in some silver stars and had to black out the hideous fading gold emblems/lettering

amazing what a difference it made atleast to me.

I am about to do the same to my emblems Tuesday or Wednesday .. Just ordered my plastidip.

Ali, mind sharing how you tackled the emblems? It seems really time intensive to mask off every letter. Is that what you did? My gold emblems don't have enough bling these days.

actually there is not much masking, should have taken pics but its all over youtube. I just did a big square around all the lettering all together. Then sprayed the whole area. Waited for it to dry and then just peeled the plastidip off the body. It pulls till it gets to the letters and then separates itself right at the edge. For the cavities inside the lettering I just used a toothpick and picked the plastidip out. Again it separates itself when it gets to the letters so pretty easy.

Heres a vid that may help

What's the plan for PM? Is it due for water pump, TB, etc?

Looks excellent!

thanks.

was at home depot noticed the white dip and thought it may be a good solution to the fading gold/tan beltline trim.

the white is actually not all that bad. its very bright as its new paint and the truck is dirty but with a little time get dirty it may blend in pretty well.

thinking of blacking out the bumpers to mimic the look of the cruisers I used to see when I was growing up around the middle east .

Looking good.

Keeping the roof rack on? I keep debating that myself. Aesthetically, it looks better IMO but I like the idea of being able.to throw something up there if necessary.
