Here is the only major rust on it other than that its pretty Clean body looks great, The truck comes from Guatemala has a 3 speed in it I thought the newer ones came with 4 speeds .

Foreign markets got different options than we did. Does it also have drum brakes on the front axle? That is a really good deal you got for a 78 with what looks to be minor rust. Looks like it still has the KMs speedo also.

So I started it up PO said it had a rear main leak but it appears to be a blown head gasket lots of white smoke and a nice anti freeze smell but it runs

Mill the head when you do the gasket and it will go like a race car.

Nice find. That right rear lower 1/4 looks suspicious... might be the camera angle, but it looks like a real sharp transition. Also, is the windshield fram rusted out on the interior?

I dunno about the rear quarter but yes it needs a new windshield frame. I washed it and cleaned it out last night amazing there were no water leaks inside

You guys in the DC area probably saw it in its better days it has a Ft Belvior sticker on the windshield
