Got some goodies out of this one.. Some pics if it helps anyone! I got the fuel relay, driver's seatbelt, back seat step pads PS rear bumper end, + some other goodies..
Front seats leather is destroyed, but the seat rails and gears etc are all there.. I recall someone at the last meeting inquiering about the Driver's seat running gear and brackets? :grinpimp: It also has the low hanging class V hitch!! if anyone is looking for one!

Sun visors?

Yep I can confirm the side mirrors and visors are gone!
Besides what I mentioned earlier, I remember the AC dryer was still there, thought about grabbing it as a spare.. but it was HOT as heck! :bang: and :wrench: under the AZ sun on a dirty junk yard is not fun!
Looks like the T-case is still there, 3rd row seats.. and lots of odds and ends like bolts grab handles w/their screw covers.. visor clip holders, both rear and front flares, basel for the radio and switches, (Tan Interior) 3rd row seats and mounting hardware, tailgate with clean carpet! trunk side covers for the nooks, PS front seat belt in good shape not frayed...... ( I bought one online for $45 because the :princess: seatbelt was always locking and not releasing :bang:) I paid $15 for the Driver's seatbelt off this cruiser :D ) , but anyhow it was really too hot to take all I wanted before I got dizzy and decided to call it a day! just went home and had a cold  to celebrate the score ! :D

I actually went there looking for a volvo s70 center councel with cup holders to do the arm rest mod.. and was pleasantly surprised to find the cruiser.. https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/551460-armrest-mod.html?highlight=S70
BTW no Volvo center councels at this place that fit the cruiser!:meh:

Anyone know the Venezuelan newbie's handle that was at the meet last month? Anyhow he had the the bad-ass looking LX450 with the newly upholstered seats. I'm sure it was him that was looking for the driver's seat brackets and gear..

His name is Chay and he's not on the board. I did call him and let him know about the cruiser and he's going to look at it. Thanks!!

You stealthy buzzards!!! :D
Don't we have a tread of Junk-Yard Finds like we have one for "Found on Craig's list tread"? ...
Are there any more cruisers out there in the Phx area??:confused::confused: Waiting for the the rest of us vulture's to descend on their carcass??
Been there twice myself. Wanted mostly stuff that is gone or in bad shape. Thought a buddy was going to grab the front right fender, but it is still there, in good shape. Ahmet posted his find on the axles and we just followed his lead. Never was on CL. John

Is it me, or is looking at it sitting there just depressing?

I've done my share of U-Pull-It restorations when I was in school and on a steady diet of Ramen, but looking back now, it's as solemn as a graveyard to look at vehicles in such shape. Especially a Land Cruiser.

R.I.P. Ol Cruiser.. Don't worry LongDuck :crybaby: She was an organ donor! Some of her parts will live on in CSC trucks that hopefully will have a better life! :hillbilly:

But on that note.. When I was younger and knew not the ways of the :wrench: I'd go the local junkyard, take apart a car there and learn before I broke something on my own vehicle.. learn how it is put together how to disassemble etc.. Then I'd do it on my car! (obiously before the internets... where everything has a write-up with pictures )Anyhow good way to learn :wrench: and increase your  skills with no risk of messing up your own vehicle.. Costs $2 to have a practice cadaver
