want to see pics of 255x85x16 on your 40, i do beleive they measure 1'' taller than the 33x10.50.

thanks

anybody ...

here are my Toyo M-55's 255/85R16's mounted on oem 16" split rims

I am running a 4" skyjacker lift and con-ferr shackles in rear....shackle reversal front...so at the wheels its what used to equate to 5" of lift.

great tires and size IMO

johnnyc how do you like the 16" splits, im about to pick a set up soon, where and what size tube do i need, your truck looks great, 255x85x16 are the best looking tire IMO on a 40, they seem to be a bit taller than a 33 and a bit skinner than a 10.50

I love my splits...there are a few threads about it...

I run 700/750 16 radial tubes with a TR150 stem...the stem has to be offset...althou this hasnt been an issue with any tubes i ever got before...they have always been offset.

some tubes have the valve on center...you dont want that

you also need flaps...they have radial and bias flaps....but....either do work fine however. some people dont run flaps...but...you need a really good rim to do it...any rust and scaleing inside the rim will result in a punture.

the thread:
255/85 R16 BF Goodrich Mud/split rims is a good one

emr88 looks sweet, how do you like the maxxis big horns, can you mesaure the height of the tire.

FR3533, that isn't my rig, that is Jacket's.

I might go that same route though, when the $$$ permits.
