Just a simple question. Any of you folks know which seal is failing, causing a pretty large leak whenever I wash the truck (or heavy rains)? Passenger side only, and it appears most of it comes from the firewall area, more so than the door. I just replaced the door seal yesterday and ran it through the carwash today for a quick check. Still leaks like crazy.
I also replaced those hood seals on the firewall side and radiator side.

There is an inaccessible pinchweld at the cowling to firewall that has sealant, which has dried/flexed/cracked, allowing water in.
There is also a drain tube from the cowling area, make sure that is clear. You can see this drain tube if you remove the side vent from the exterior of the fender. HTH

You should take the interior kick panel off and really pinpoint where the water is coming in.

Pull the cowl inlet screen on the bottom of the windshield behind the hood. Then look in with a flashlight
to the inlet box for the heater. It's a square metal box that sticks up allowing for air to inlet the heater blower.
Get a vacuum, cause it's probably surrounded by leaves and organic sloppy crap. Then check carefully
around the bottom edge for sealant gone or rust.. That's probably where it's coming in. there is a cowl drain
on the outside, but you'd have to remove the fender. You might end up doing that anyways.

I developed a leak after having the windshield replaced. Water came in between the seal and the bottom corners of the glass. FWIW

Cruiserpilot, by 'cowl inlet screen' do you mean the sheet metal that runs the width of the hood, between the hood and bottom windshield edge - that the wiper shafts come up thru? If so, how do you remove it?

My mistake, wrong truck, I got confused. You will have to remove the wiper motor and pull it out of the opening. It’s a bit of a bugger getting the linkage arm to release. I can’t remember how? Hope someone can fill us in.

No problem. Many years ago I had an Alfa Romeo Spyder that had a cowl that slid out after taking out a few screws.
