Just wondering if you had this done for 2008 lx570 with gray interior ... prior owner had it done but the dealer replaced with a black pass front seatbelt as opposed to gray colored seatbelt?

thanks for any input ....

I just checked. Looks like my replacement belt is slightly darker. May just be fresh and not faded- I wouldn’t say it’s a whole shade darker than the driver’s belt.

Post a pic of your two belts together in the same photo (like I did) to compare.

Lots of these had that issue because the kits shipped to dealers at first were all black. I remember dealers giving some pushback on people complaining.. then the recall turning into making an appointment just for them to inspect and see what color you had, then having to schedule another to actually get the work done.
Maybe worth checking the service history to see what service dept did the work and contacting them.

Thank you! I will post a pic for comparison. The replacement is black for sure.

again thank you

I had this issue on my 2009 LC, black belt for a gray interior. I pushed the issue with the dealership and Toyota corporate to get a color matched belt, but no luck.

Got a black seatbelt as well. New one rattles; tried several times to pinpoint what's causing it but no success so far.

After dealing with this issues for the 6 months......I had to up and level up with them and pull out all strings.....TMC will replace the belt but I had to pay for the labor

Can somebody confirm if this is correct part number for gray front seatbelt

73210-60680-B1

after all this, Lexus and Toyota customer service is horrible......

thank you in advance

73210-60680-B0 comes up in my parts program as a right hand belt assembly in Md. Gray. When I pull that number up in a retail site your -B1 supercedes it, even if it doesn't list the color. -A0 is for Ivory color.

All that to say I think that is the correct number for a Gray passenger seatbelt for a LX.

Wow! I hope that doesn’t happen to me. I was called when the recall service was completed and the service person said that he apologized that all they had was the black in stock and they would perform the service again when the correct color becomes available.

This would include picking up my vehicle and transporting it a days drive to the dealer and returning it to me while I drive a rental that is definitely not very nice because their allowance only covers a compact car 😬

My whole experience was topped off with new damage to my vehicle when it was returned to me. I’ve been talking to very pleasant people but the Lexus customer service “process” is absolutely awful. Especially coming from quite a bit of time in customer service I know it could be so much better!

This thread doesn’t reassure me.

I’m glad somebody brought this up. I was unsure of what they actually replaced since I took it in and got it back with the same worn belt (ivory) that I took it in with. I assumed they replaced some internal parts but now I’m wondering, what did they replace?

That certainly sounds suspicious considering everyone else’s experiences.

If I remember correctly certain newer years and possibly ones not driven off the dealer lot at the time didn’t get a new belt, they got the harness modified to correct the issue.

If you had a “worn” belt that wasn’t replaced it sounds suspicious though. I’d call the dealer and ask whether the recall was performed on your VIN, and if they say yes have them describe the procedure. If that procedure includes a new belt assembly, start raising hell.

Alternately seek out other ways to determine whether any open recalls apply to your vehicle.

thank you for the part number!
