Hey guys,

I am a farily resent transplant from the Pacific Northwest to the central coast of California (Paso Robles area). I am hoping to learn a little more about the area, and find some good trails/trips that are feasible to do in a single day.

Is anyone from around here?

Anyone planning any trips within a 150 moles or so? I would love to tag along.

Where is the best place to do a little wheeling in the snow?

Go to club houses, look up the Central Valley Crawlers. There is or my be other clubs in the area to lead you to the snow.

Welcome to the Central Coast. Central Coast Land Cruisers is probably your closest club.. we have a few members that live in paso. Sethzilla being one of them. Our club host the annual TNS event at Pismo each year. As far as snow wheeling. We do a day run out to Mt. PINOS witch is about a 2.5hr drive from Paso. Keep an eye on our club pages here, the Web www.centralcoastlandcruisers.com and on face book. PM me or Sethzilla for any more info. -Joe-

@Ajk11235 I live in San Francisco but my family has a house in Paso (east side 5min from the Walmart). I drive down there about once a month. I often take my LC. I have had little success looking for public dirt in that area but am more than willing to look further. Let's trade info and I'll reach out next time the fam and I are headed down.

Garcia Ridge? Pozo OHV? Even High Mountain Road, the Condor overlook, See/Perfumo Canyons and the TV Tower road are worth a Sunday drive.
