I am trying to restore a '77 FJ40 and I need new rear wheel wells. I just got a line on a '72 with a good tub and wondering if and what I could swap. Mostly concerned about the quarter panels, mostly the wheel wells. Any information?

I am not 100% sure but I believe the tubs are basically the same. small exceptions like fuel doors, roll bar mounts etc are different...

Well I guess I may buy it. I'm going to look at it this weekend. The seller says the body is in great shape. Just missing the windshield and front fenders. Other then that he says is is in great shape. No Rust(well see about that). He only want $500 for it so it may be a steal. I was hoping to just swap out tubs, but from you replies it sounds like my hard top and Ambulance doors won't work.
