Parts from other vehicles?

I see a lot of people take PS boxes off GM cars and Scouts and all kinds of parts from other than Toyota vehicles. Is there a web page I can go to that will tell me all the vehicles that were made with the 4 bolt PS box or other parts? I want to go to the junk yard to find parts but I don't have 30 years of automotive experience to know what car came with what...

A four bolt saginaw P/S box will be found on pre-75 fullsize GM vehicles, along with 76 and on CJ7's with P/S.
