I am looking to maintain a factory look and defeat my DRL's for nighttime IR use. I sourced the appropriate switch and will use the "mirror fold" button to open the circuit to defeat the lamps as noted from a previous thread on here and over on tlcfaq.

The problem is the dealership can't get me the pigtail for the rear of this switch (the white receptacle housing) and was unable to locate a part number. He called another Toyota dealership and a Lexus dealership for help and they were not able to locate the number either.

So trying my luck here, and I am certain someone can resolve this.

Looks to me like you need 90980-11319 it is not in my Toyota catalog so it is a Lexus only part that comes as a bare connector. When I get some more down time I'll try to find wires for it.

Sorry no dice on the wires try talking to Lexus with that connector part number they may have just notated the wire part numbers in the catalog under the connector. If they say they can't find them, ask to talk to someone who works with the local body shops as they will have experience diving into the more obscure info systems.

Assuming the 90980-11319 is the right connector, looks like repair wire 82998-12420 is the ticket.

Pulled from Toyota wire repair manual.

Since you can’t find the connector, are you going to wire power to the the switch directly to the pins? Not sure if this helps.

I’m going to use the switch to shut off the DRL’s when I need to run my IR lighting. That manual pic is perfect to tell me contact arrangement.

Thank you everyone, this helps immensely. Great resource!

I can’t find this from the main page but a search with that connector part number redirects to an Attachment page here.

Do you want to keep the DRLs for day use? If not, you can disable them in TechStream. At least, on my 07 it can be done.

Yeah, that's an option but I am leaning towards keeping them at this point. I already bought the switch.
