I've done some digging around the forum and it appears that the 03LX470's didn't come with parking assist sensors. My LX doesn't have a backup camera. Everytime I put it in reverse, whether I'm close to something or not, my vehicle beeps very high pitched, indiscriminately-spaced, varying length tones, as if I'm about to run into something. I suppose its something I can just deal with, although it can be alarming, when I know there is nothing behind me and I am backing up and my vehicle is beeping at me. Anybody have an idea as to how I can either: 1) adjust the sensors so they actually work when they would be needed, or 2) remove the sensors altogether?

I don’t think there’s a factory installed parking sensor option in the 100s, maybe I’m wrong, so it must have been installed using an aftermarket system by a previous owner.
If it’s faulty and bothers you, just take it off.
It can also be one of those aftermarket alarm things that go off when in reverse, like the ones in box trucks, and has a bad speaker/ beep thing.
Your LX should have a camera, check if there’s an issue with it and see if you can bring it back to life.
