I wonder what type of rims they are running...there are very few options out there for the LC200, and in 17" too.

Rays Engineering have come up with TE37 large PCD 5x150 in bronze, silver and white.

18x9J 0 offset and 18x9.5J +55 offset
20x9.5J 0, +50, +55 offset

Mot or Dave of Japan4x4 might be able to help.

hey whats wrong with stickers this is an old shot i got a lot more on there now
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the stickers...Love it!!!

In my opinion, you should have the whole back (minus the wiper area) stickered, and the two back side windows. Post updated pics if you got more.

We should start a sticker sticky...just to bug DTT255 (problem is...he's the one that stickys...and he hates stickers...this is getting confusing):p.

hey thats the pic how did you get it to transfer here? I thought they were using flash on that site?????

It sure looks like the front of the cruiser took a fair hit, front guard is buckled too. Are they allowed any gearbox mods? Or would they be running wth the stock 6 speed auto.

DVRs ready - I was able to set up my dvr tonight (Time Warner Cable - Raleigh, NC) to record the entire thing on VS tv from Sunday the 3rd until the 18th. 30 minutes a day updates. It should be sweet.

I looked around on the originally posted translated site and found this picture:

Thats the logo for Enkei, so that answers the question of who built the wheels, I have yet to figure out what model they are.

BTW As of now, I am pretty sure the LC200 is winning the T2 class. I could be wrong though.

I think you may be right...when I checked yesterday, they actually had one at 25th overall, and the other at 38th...those are really impressive numbers considering the type of vehicles racing this thing.

I shot little short videos of the 200s racing the 8th stage of the Dakar yesterday. Will post them tonight when I get home.

I'll say one thing: most other vehicles squeaked and rattled like hell, but the TOYOTAs were silent and elegant.

More comments, pics & vids soon. It's a busy day at the office today :)

I appreciate being busy...just commenting that the one thing you had time to share was a nice compliment to the rig. It is great to hear that was your first, and most memorable thought after the experience of seeing it race.

Now I can't wait to hear and see more!

At the very least...UCAs, springs and shocks. Wish we could see the other side, it would let us know if KDSS is fitted or not.

Anyone else notice the 'BioDiesel' logo on the bottom left?

I am wondering if they actually use biodiesel in that.

They do use actual Bio Diesel. There is a link on there site to the bio diesel site...a driver in a 100 series is doing a world trip on the stuff...pretty cool.
