nice pics........way too many stickers!

I am really pulling for these guys. They won 3 years in a row in production class in a 100 series and I hope they keep the streak going with the 200.

This is in a basically stock LC. The mods include like a rollcage, 2 inch suspension lift only and 235/85 r 16 tires. I need to find the link but the mods are extremely limited and just goes to show how well built the Cruisers are.

Are you sure about the wheel and tire size? I thought the 200 could only go as low as 17" rim because of the brakes.

I would think they have a beefed up normal suspension

They definitely did, look at the swing arms on the front suspension. You can see where they have mounted two shocks, one is probably a bypass and the other a coil over. Production class for the Baja 1000 allows some suspension modifications, so I'm sure Dakar does too.

still don't like the stickers :)

naa he's whimp'n out. Worried about his factory warranty smorrany.
What factory warranty...Like I said before DTT255 ran out of that months ago. Even if he had an issue, they would deny because he's been wheelin. Don't you know, they only warranty LCs that stick strictly to pavement.

Not exactly accurate.

If I had an issue that I knew was warranty related, I would have no issues bringing it in and just saying that it 'happened'.

Certain things they can totally blame on me, like a torn CV boot or something like that.

But if something like what happened to JB, where his power steering pump went...they sure as hell would be replacing that shiz under warranty.
