nice pics...got anymore of clairs camp? thats a place i want to go back to and explore some, maybe spend a night there. on my trip up south park and down pleasant canyons it was too late to hang around there so we just drove through, but it sure looked like it was an impressive mine at one time.

looks like you had a blast!

sweet pics!
what do you use for the slide show program?

I need that!

Great pics as always! Thanks for sharing

Hey Bro!
Awesome pics...Thank you for sharing them.
We did the same run, but in reverse order that you did, last year!
I was SOOO impressed with the Briggs cabins...Its amazing to me that they are soooo well maintained on the good faith of people!
We camped at the "not so nice" cabins that you featured in your slide show...We didnt stay in the cabins however, for fear of Hanta Virus and pitched tents out side...That is a BEAUTIFUL run.
"Chicken Rock" to me, being a "green wheeler" at the time, was very intimidating...My palms were sweating looking at the photos!:o

Looks like a fun trip, and again...thanks for sharing!
Nice work!

If you scan through the pages of the guest book at the Briggs cabib, you will find a fine Norcal Wagons Logo drawn freehand by FirstToy in 2004.

Pretty cool

Thanks for sharing the picts. We did the route the other way a couple months back. I can't wait to get back out there again, of course when it cools down.

Hey Alvaro,

I didnt know you guyz yet, but I remebered the avatars from being on the board in my NEWBIE-NESS!
That was my first run in my 62 out there!

I think we signed "West Coast Blotchers" with the date!
Nothing as cool as that though!

I LOVE IT down there!
Something about the DV area just makes me feel...GOOD!
Donno if its a cosmic connection, spiritual alignment or what, all I know is that I cant wait to go back!

>Clair Camp is haunted man.

aw i aint afraid a no ghosts!!!

i stay at barker cabin all the time and while ive never wanted to run into the "ghost" of charlie (which figures because he aint dead, at least not physically, yet) i always hoped some ghosts of his "girls" would show up.

so far, nada. probably a good thing.
