I have plans to do the pan American highway in 5-7 years. My biggest question is can I drive through every country in central and South America with a RHD HJ47?

I can’t find solid information on if RHD vehicles are allowed to drive in countries like Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Argentina, Nicaragua, Panama, etc?

Any personal experience or advice on the matter would be great!

Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Costa Rica officialy ban RHD vehicles. I think the first two countries can be a bit hit and miss with enforcement, but with Guatemala it seems like a hard no.

This is from some RHD travellers who got into Honduras, but were not able to get into Guatemala or El Salvador:

Quite a decent channel (I ended up watching a few episodes despite having no real interest in Central America) - the Trans-Amazonian episode was my favourite.

Sorry no personal experience but I’m planning the same trip and everything I hear, everything, says Costa Rica will not allow you to enter. Ditto El Salvador but less info. And just because one guard lets you in doesn’t mean the next one won’t bust you. It’s why I bought a LHD vehicle.
