I took the kids out and went on a search for SNOW . . .

First we headed up the West side of Palomar Mtn.

We saw a lot of burned out areas on the way up.

Near the top the road was closed, so we had to turn around and head back down.

We then headed around Lake Henshaw to the East side of the mountain.

We ran into another closed road.

But it was okay. We found a nice little place for the kids to play.

YouTube - Snow Day - Palomar Mtn.

The kids had a fantastic time out there. They were completely wiped out when we finally got home. The mission was a complete success!

That is so cool, I can't wait to do that with my boy.

Looks like the Cruiser took quite a few snow balls to the back towards the end.

Awesome! The black 80 looks so good in the snow pics!

nice pics, I like the empty spooky ones at the beginning...

Kids LOVE snow. You gotta get Scotty out there!!

Luke had a great time 'tagging' the truck with snow. He was really surprised to see some of what he put on the rear bumper had survived the drive home.

It was kinda creepy with the fog, burned trees, and patches of snow.

Nice pics!!!

Reid-

Great pics man, the kids look happy as can be and some of the pics of your rig are keepers, the black and white contrast is really cool. The snow angel pic is the bomb.

So the 10 point turn around must have been fun!!!!

The turn around wasn't bad at all actually. I backed into a "turn" and headed straight out.

Oh and you guys were totally SoCal with the kids in sweat pants in the snow! :D
Yeah, we don't own any 'snow clothes'. Suprisingly, those pants didn't get all that wet.

Thanks fellas.

The kids were so anxious to get out. As soon as we hit the snow they were asking "can we stop here". They did this all the way up.

Looks good man! I love the shot of your rig in the snow and the dry city in the background down on the flats. Too cool.
I like that one too.

My camera is jacked up though. Some of the shots get dark areas in the top right and lower left corners.
