Full XPEL Stealth. I didn’t pay the prices posted above but mine included paint prep (used car). Also used a PPF specific ceramic coat.

I recently paid $5k for XPEL on the entire truck, sans bumpers and partial roof (strip in front and tailgate spoiler). Everything else is wrapped. A lot of $$$, but decided it's worth to me. No paint correction included (did it myself).

But that's in Ma$$.

I paid almost $8k for a full wrap on my C63, so I would say that was a comparative deal.

I've posted on XPel before - my whole 2020 is wrapped. Worth it for me. Pay for the best installer though, this is what makes the difference in 1, 3, 5+ years. I've had dealerships install hood film and had it peel in a few years at the edges. I've never had a single issues with the shop that I've been using for the past 9 years on multiple vehicles, and I'd seen other full wraps that they'd done (in addition to other partial wraps I've had them do). They are more expensive in the short run but cheaper in the long run.

Edit - they told me that they did one section 3 times before they were happy. That's what I like to hear.

Any one have any mold issues w the Toyota protection film I now have some black spots under mine that I initially thought was on the outside however looks to be between the paint and film.

Prior to my lc200 I had a 4runner that had it above the sliders. After a year it had a yellow tint to it and spots under it. I can’t say if it was mold or not just removed the film to make it look clean again.

Just called Xpel in Austin to get prices for PPF on roof (which includes A pillars), headlights, fog lights, front camera lens, and custom bumper (Rhino 4x4 bumper). It turns out anything custom is super $$$, so it's best to just have them do the pieces that come pre-cut for your vehicle. So I'm not doing the bumper.
  • Roof: $350 (They mis-quoted this over the phone. It's over $1000 for full roof, so I'm skipping this)
  • Headlights & fog lights: $250
  • Custom (non-OEM) bumper: starting at $1000
  • Camera lens: It's such a tiny piece I suggested they just throw that in for free and the lady said that's perfectly reasonable. I'll ask them for sure when I drop off the LC.

I could justify the headlight protection since it could help avoid an expensive headlight replacement, but the other locations are a bit ridiculous. $1000 is over half the cost of a brand new bumper.

Same thoughts with the headlights / fog lights / camera lens, it's too expensive to replace those parts so PPF makes sense in my mind. But yeah, there's no way I'm spending $1000 for bumper protection. If it really gets scratched up, I could get it repainted for a lot less.

Depending on use, the roof can make sense. I use a roof-top cargo box sometimes, and the roof tends to get some rubbing during install and removal, no matter how careful I am. Combine that with the sun exposure the roof gets and tree branches that inevitable rub against the roof, and it will have spots of paint that will wear faster than the rest of the vehicle.

I actually think there is a company that sends you a Toyota bumper and paint for like 850. I remember coming across it when I needed a rear.
