Hi:
I was wondering if anyone knew what the correct paint is to touch up the scratches on the window frames. I saw some universal satin black at Oreilley today, but not sure if it would be a exact match.

Thanks

Alot of newer vehicles have "black out tape" rather than painted trim pieces, however I think ours are in fact painted. With the existing trim faded, I doubt you will find a good match for touch up, rather you will have to take the belt molding off and tape off the rest to paint the whole trim piece. Ask a local body shop wha they do and what they would charge. While it can be done at home, you might find that a couple hundred dollars would repaint all of them. If not, scuff, prep and paint yourself. Good luck!

I was going to have mine painted as they are garbage until I had a guy come in to do warranty work replacing this trim in the new Buick's as its shrinking. He quoted me $150 to do all the doors if I removed the trim and scuffed them all with 1500 grit paper.

I'm very competent, but I'd pay to have this done by a professional. Which I need to soon.
