Just curious, what would recovering a set of front 40 series buckets cost?

I try very hard to give fair deals. 40 seats are rather simple (as all of you know), as are straight rear benches. The amount of labor involved is the largest factor in pricing. While there is a larger quantity of material in a bench, as opposed to a bucket, the labor is about the same. This is true in most applications. 80's ect. 40 front buckets will price between $225 and $325 each. Some seats may be cheaper than others. Pictures always help to give an accurate estimate.

Another option, in some cases, is factory or aftermarket seat covers. They are often a little cheaper if they can be found. If I order, or you buy, these products I will charge 1 hour ($65) per seat to install.

I find that time does not allow me as much time on mud as I would like. The number listed above is my shop number, It will also ring through to my cell. Dont worry about business hours if you have a question. You can also email me at Josh@i-10upholstery.com

short question:

can worn-off vinyl piping on these be repaired ? the rest of Michael's Mastercraft seat is still fine

would it be cost-effective ?

The welt can be replaced, however the seat covers will need all broken down at the stitch. On occasion it is cost effective to do a repair, but not always.
