24 volt? Make sure there are no 12volt appliance running off a single battery. I would check for rust behind those flares. Nice 61, same seats as my old one.
Does it have the fridge, rear aircon and jump seats?

Yes, 24v. I have a 12v converter running all the 12v components. Haven't checked behind the flares. Good idea. No fridge or rear AC, but it does have jump seats.

Hey all. I just got an HJ61 also. Just imported. Hopefully getting transported to me in FL next week or 2!
Mine looks pretty similar- same wheels. Never thought about the spare wheel....might be in the same boat as you. If you find one...please get 2!
So now 8 months later do you still love it? Any issues?
Love this site. So much awesome helpful info

Not sure of a name yet! Lol
But I just realized they are not the same wheels.

Nice looking 61! I've seen some wheels that look similar to yours, so you might have less trouble, if you need a spare. I still haven't been able to find my wheels anywhere. Not even a picture. It's as if they were the only ones ever produced!

8 months later, I absolutely love my 61. I've done a lot of work to get some of the small electrical issues fixed. The AC has never worked, so I replaced the compressor (which was seized) as well as the drier. I couldn't get it operational myself, so I took it to a local shop that works on cruisers, but they wanted $1100 to get the electrical working to the AC, as well as replacing the pressure valve. That's not in my budget right now so I'm going to get after it again in the next month. I did remove and re-solder the circuit board that controls the interior/exterior thermostat, and that has worked like new ever since.

I'd say the only thing that I need to do, other than the AC, is getting a new exhaust tip welded on. My 61 smokes a lot and the paint on the rear is constantly covered in exhaust grime. It doesn't wipe off either. It needs to be polished out. I think I might try and find a way to route the exhaust towards the ground so it's not always making the paint on the rear look filthy.

Good luck with your 61! Keep us posted!

You know it’s funny I have not taken the wheels off yet. I just enjoy driving it and having fun with it. I’ve done a bit of engine cleaning and some minor maintenance. But I have not taking the wheels off yet! Maybe I will do that today and check and see if I can find a name on them.
