The time has come to let my beloved 80 series Land Cruiser find a new home. This has been a dream to own, and I’ve poured countless thousands into it, but my priorities are shifting and I have some investments to make elsewhere.
I have likely lost track of all of the maintenance done in the 3.5 years I’ve owned it, but these are the pertinent ones:
- 2.5in OME heavy with steering stabilizer
- TRD FJ wheels with 285/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs (Nearly new)
- Borla stainless cat back exhaust
- Bosal down pipe with catalytic converter
- New calipers, pads, rotors at all 4 corners with less than 5k
- Pesky Heater hose this past winter
- Air filter 2021
- Coolant flushed 2021
- NGK plugs 2021
- Transmission mount 2021
- All U-Joints 2021
- Denso O2 sensors 2020
- AC belt 2021
- Front axle rebuild/birfs/chromoly Trail Gear shafts. Not triple locked.
- Replacement OEM Lexus head unit, replacement OEM amplifier, JBL Drvn 5.25 with door tweeters up front, Kenwood rears.
- Depo tail lights.
- Folder full of receipts and records from myself and previous owners, as this is just a quick overview.
Recently took a trip to Cooks Forest and averaged 13.7mpg. Does 75mph with ease, tracks straight as an arrow, nice and tight. Truck has never let me down.
I have not wheeled or taken this 80 off road in my ownership, my intention was more geared towards the occasional camping trip and to have a reliable driver. To my knowledge, the 80 was bought new down towards Pittsburgh and used by an older couple with dealer services in the records.
Truck is not a perfect rig, but cleans up very well and is not rotted out. This wasn't bought as a flip, I planned on keeping it forever after recovering the front leather, and I know without a doubt I will be at odds with myself for letting it go over the years to come. It checked all my boxes for an 80 after years of looking.
I have the title in hand, clean and clear. Motivated seller, and willing to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your interest.
