My son's new to him 2011 GX460 was getting the dreaded P2714 code. Checked the fluid level and there was about 1/2 quart too much. Kept getting the same code after proper leveling. Decided to do a filter change. Had a bit of trouble as the filter and gasket kit had the wrong gasket and seemingly filter. The old gasket was flat and the one I received was molded. The filters were also different. The new has a pickup tube that sticks down 1" lower than the one that was on it. That equates to about 2 quarts difference in fluid based on the pan dimensions. I don't know if it had ever been replaced. I lost the napkin I wrote all the dimensions on but I think the old filter pickup was only sticking down about 1/2" or less into the fluid when leveled properly. I got a flat gasket and put on the filter with the extended pickup tube and haven't had that code in a week. I know that's not a long time but he was getting that code every morning. Can't find it now or I would have just replied, but someone else here or on another forum mentioned a similar circumstance with their A760.

What is that PN on the old one? That doesn’t look OEM to me
