Hey everyone,
Today I changed spark plugs and fuel filter on my 2003 Landcruiser. All parts used were Toyota oem from dealership. I had no issues or check engine lights prior to doing this. Once I started the vehicle it started idling erratic, I shut it off and started looking and saw that I forgot to plug the MAF sensor back in so I plugged it in cleared that code and restarted the vehicle and now I’m getting P2103 (throttle actuator control motor circuit high). It’s in limp mode. It won’t get higher that 1100 ish rpm’s using the accelerator pedal. I disconnected and reconnected the battery and reset the code however, it comes back with the same P2103 code. I pulled the airbox back off and manually moved the throttle body butterfly and checked to make sure the hoses I removed to do the spark plugs were back on. I also checked to make sure all the coil connections were secured. Any thoughts or troubleshooting ideas? Thanks.
