FWIW checkout other options for buying the harness, $1000 is pretty steep. My parts source hasn't changed too much in price: LINK. If you are set on trying to fix your existing harness, just be extremely careful with unclipping the sensor and fuel injector wires. Those things will be crispy and prone to breaking. If you do break them, it's not the end of the world and can still get new connector housings. I would just err on the side of making less work for myself. Depinning and repinning a bunch of broken external connector housings isn't my favorite way to spend a weekend.
