P01 recall on my '91 -

-- I called around and figured there is an outstanding recall on my '91 --

-- 13 years and 190,000 miles later --

-- it's a "P01" recall -- an evaporator kit for my AC --

-- they said "it's a big job, you might need to leave it for more than a day" --

-- of course, speaking with them doesn't give me much light on if this really needs to be done --

-- anyone familiar with this?

hm -- I think it is -- I'm going in there on Friday to see --

-- they're like cowboys in my service dept. -- basically always trying to get off the phone -- prob. a reason i don't ever use them except for recall stuff --

-- they were trying to say too since my unit is now 134A that they can't perform the recall -- that's odd --

I have 134a and never had any issues with this part. I honestly don't know if I have been serviced under the recall...perhaps mr Cdan can look me up?

my brother had this recall done on his 91. took them a couple of hours. PM me and I'll send you the recall bulletin.

Is the recall only in 91?, i'm wondering if my 92 would also be effected, Brad.
