p/s gearbox install 2nd gen4runner

Does anybody have any good info on installing a powersteering gearbox install on a 2nd gen 4runner? Seems like lots of bolts but thats about it. Any links or tips??

What about tie rods? Any info on installing new ones? Thanks much.

I've heard that this job is a real pain. You've got to remove the steering shaft from the box with a puller, along with unbolting it. Are you replacing a bad one? Tie rod ends can be removed with a pickle fork or a puller. The trick is to count the number of threads showing on the one you're removing and match it with the new one you're installing.
