St James Church at the base of Paris mountain in
Greenville county S.C. is holding their annual oyster roast
on 2/2/08. From 4 to 8 p.m.
BEST oyster roast we attend each year. All you can eat
of single selects,, and chili.
I can reserve tickets in advance but my DROP DEAD deadline
is tomorrow, Friday, at noon.
$25 a head. You get your money's worth.
So far it's Prez with family and Lynn and I. That'd be 5 so far.
You can pay at the event but I MUST order tickets in advance
and will be responsible for paying for the pre-ordered tickets
if ya no-show.
So...lets see a show of hands.
Mmmmmmmm roasted oysters and

I never attend those oyster festivals because they only serve single selects. I like clusters from McClellanville a lot better.

So I take it you are NOT attending. ;)
Like Granny says "That's why they make chocolates and vanillas".
I personally am not a fan of clusters.
To each his own.

As you know David, we are all in for this! Nothing better than steamed oysters and cold beer. Ahhh!

Oh my

I tell ya what, the Prez gave me a run at consuming oysters, chili and .
:grinpimp:
I'm soooo stuffed. I must have eaten 4 dozen oysters! Add a bowl of chili and
and you have one happy camper. :)
The first lady and Lynn held their own too. The :princess: even had a good time and ate
some oysters. That is one cute little girl, bear face paint and all.

It's now two hours later and I am still stuffed. I'm telling you, those Greenville people sure do know how to enjoy life! 2 bowls of chili, dozens of Oysters, micro brew, all while standing over a plywood table with a big hole in the middle for chunking shells.

Thanks Gundy! Glad I came. Just wish that church was near me . . . I would join just for the partying! (Episcopalians know good beer when they drink it)
