45 swb

My first cruiser. I purchased restored and learned my lesson after "re-restoring" it. Removed 8274 and adding PTO.

Last few pictures:
- dressed up for Delta, CO, Christmas parade
- front end (caked with some ice from recent storm in Austin)

You really need to bring that fine ride over to the LSLC Round Up in March and let us all drool over it.

Billybongo63's 45 SWB

I actually just bought this on e-bay, nice restore on the body and interior, going to do the drivetrain this spring.
Trying hard to find evey nos part available, but running into some dead ends. My hope is to bring the whole truck back to showroom condition. This site is proving to be a great tool in my arsenal of restoration weapons.
Thanks all1-Bill

Hi Butch,

I checked the Round Up website, and it looks like fun. Unfortunately, I'll be in Rome with my family on spring break. Maybe next time, especially if those beers in your post were intended as enticement!

45 longbed

Purchased this longbed from Manfredi in Florida. I think it is happy to be out of the flatlands and back to the mountains. Pictured up Taylor mountain overlooking Jackson Hole. Production date in 65 and going to be nebula.

OK, I'm on a roll now that I have figured out how to use this thing. The first picture will take your breath away if you saw this driving down a country road. I bought this 45 from Dave Moore in Washington. He had it sitting in his sisters barn for about ten years. Dave has owned more than 35 cruisers and is well known for selling parts off of those at very reasonable prices. He never had an attraction to the 45s...good for me. Anyway, it is in great running condition and in the process of being painted Dune Beige. Another bonus in the transaction...meeting a great cruiser person.

The good looking one is my chocolate lab Browning!

Another 45 provided to me by Dave Moore. Still looks the same and needs a title.

45 resto

Another Wilson 45 shortbed. A buddy, Bill Davidson, got me into these cruisers. This is his shortbed before and after restoration. He purchased this in Boseman.
Always liked that color...but the bodywork has to be perfect to look this good.

As you can tell, we like to go mostly stock.

Hey Dukes. you are the man! that Cruiser looked pretty good peeking out of the barn. I'm glad that I sold it to a truly dedicated owner of 45's. I am still on the hunt for Cruisers as you know. If, I ever have a chance I will buy another one. I can't wait to see the 45 completely restored with your talent it should look like a showroom model. Best of Luck and thank you for always being positive and another great friend. Dave Moore
