Very interested if you do one for the LC. Nice work BTW.

Thanks for all the compliments! I'm going to start with a build of 10 sets. That covers the list so far but people may drop out.

Can you LC guys take some photos of your frames for me? The fist step in figuring out if I can adapt them would be to determine if the same bolt locations exist on the non-ahc LC frames.

I'd be interested in a set

I could do a bit smaller LED and save some on the cost too. I think they would still be plenty of light. Would anyone have complaints about that? Would drop the cost down to $90+$5 shipping.

do you think it would be possible to turn it on while night wheeling?

Because the courtesy light circuit is always hot, or ground switched, it may be as simple as pig tailing the neutral wire to wire in a switch of our choosing. You'd simply run a wire from the lighting pigtail to your switch and then from switch to ground. Without looking at a wiring diagram to confirm, I'm just guessing but deff doable.

Definitely can be done. Making something like that into a kit would probably be too much though. You'd need a switch, the right length wiring, etc to get it working. I'm thinking the best option would be leaving that up to the individual to figure out if they want.

I'm still in and I have my old running boards so I can get you some connectors. I'm out this weekend but I'll check the boards early next week.

Wow guys. I'm really impressed with the number or responses. I was honestly thinking maybe 2-3 people would be interested.

It turns out theres only one male connector per board. I saw others that connect each light in the board together last night from a distance and thought they would be the same, but there not. I currently only have enough connectors to make 5 sets so I'll definitely need to get more.

These things take me a good while to make since I have to cut, bend, and drill 4 separate brackets per set. Plus all the wiring. I'm hoping I can get moving in the next couple weeks getting the first 5 sets done. I'm on vacation the second half of next week but I'm hoping to get at least one set out early next week so I can see if the feedback is good.

Hopefully you guys are willing to be patient!

@Ramathorn15 I got a chance to look. And my 99 LX does not have the lights under the running boards. So, as cool as these are, you can take me off the list... For now.

I may get brave down the road and try figuring out how to rig these up as dual purpose courtesy and rock lights.

I would be interested in a set as well. I may need to check and see if it would clear my sliders but add me please! Thanks for taking the time putting this together.

Good to know. So maybe its 2000 and up. Glad you checked first!

Well done, I would definitely be in for a future LC version!! :)

After spending more time than I should have installing a string of LED's under mine, these look fantastic. I am in as well, but I don't have the factory connectors anymore. Can do sets that aren't terminated?

I'm still in for the big ones! These look great, thanks @Ramathorn15 !

Cool product, if you ever go out wheeling at night, a set of lights like this becomes useful very quickly.

@Ramathorn15 these look FANTASTIC ... I keep looking under my truck and see the electrical taped up ends just hanging there. Now I know what is going on there.

We need a name for these bad boys ... Ram-Lights? Rami-Lights? UnderRami's? RamBrights?

Put me down for a set ... PM me with payment instructions.

Stoked!! They will look great shining under my forthcoming BIOR sliders

Rami sent me a set of these Under-Rami-Roos (TM, patent pending...) which arrived yesterday. I was excited to get home and work on getting them installed.

Because I always do things the hard way and because I'm kind of an idiot I installed mine between the AHC and the frame which overly complicates the install. Each globe has one bolt and one post+nut that attach it to the frame. I basically had to remove the globe to be able to get the bracket over the post and then get it secured. Doing it the right (and easy) way would significantly reduce install time.

The big issue I ran into has nothing to do with the kit from Rami, it was corrosion I found on the existing plug. I had just left mine dangling for 18 months and the plug filled with crap and turned greenish blue. I tried to clean it out but there was too much garbage. What I ended up doing is buying some marine crimp connectors and marine shrink tube and I clipped the connectors and hard wired the lights together. This obviously took longer to do but I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

As received. Two lights per side, all wired up and ready to go. Zip ties for tucking up the cabling were also included.

Unboxed, driver and passenger sides were clearly marked as you can see.

Install notes.
Just pull the nuts/bolts on each globe and install brackets on the outside of the globe. No need to make this more difficult that it ought to be.
For hardwiring installs note that the red/blue wire is neg and red w/silver dot is pos. Both sides match this color scheme.
If/when you blow your fuse because your wires touched it is located in the passenger interior foot well and is a 10 amp fuse.
Make sure you route the wires on the top side of sliders so you don't have to re-do any work.

Thoughts.
I really like this kit. I like that its stainless and all of the wires are bundled up and protected very well. I'll be happy with this as long as the lights stay weather tight and don't fill with water. I didn't really inspect them too close but they seemed fairly stout. I wrapped up the wiring this morning and although its raining here today and not that bright I could clearly see these lights on and reflecting from the ground at 10 am. I am sure they are going to be great at night.

Corrosion makes these a little tricky. I suggested to Rami that he offer kits with the connectors and without or possibly with crimp ons instead of the weather pac plug for those that find corrosion like I did. It makes these a little harder than before but still not hard at all. For me the hardest part was getting the shrink tube to shrink without burning my fingers. Anyone interested in these should really go out and look at their plugs now to see what shape they are in, especially if you aren't interested in doing an install more complicated than just plugging them in.

I had suggested yesterday that perhaps he could have shortened the cables a little but after cutting and crimping this morning I'm happy I had the few extra inches. I just used more zip ties to secure the wires and get them out of the way. I don't see any design issues or anything I think he should address before moving forward. I paid full price for them so this isn't biased by a discount.

Let me know if you guys have any questions.
