Alright, I've been to couple of these social get togethers and our club is grossly under represented. I propose we show up en masse this sat a, little before 9am to secure some good spots. This is the mostly unused parking lot east of the Sportsman Warehouse building, where everyone congregates. However, there's another section of this lot that's east of this lot which sits completely empty during this event and I was wondering if we should show up there and fill that section up. If we have enough folks, we can easily pull this off.

What say you HDC? Please post up if you're planning on attending. This is a BYOB, bring your own burrito event or cook onsite event. Bring some chairs and we can BS for a bit.

I may go by. I need to get some pistol primers anyway.

Take some good pictures

Hmmm maybe. Rather not chew up another Saturday AND get gear shamed by a bunch of guys that have never melted a battery terminal with their winch :p
But still maybe... scout would enjoy the socialization

It’s just around the corner from my house, so I will probably show up. Haven’t had a chance to install my awning and additional lightbar bracket however. Hope to have that done by club meeting.

I went to the last one, had a good time. Out of town this weekend. Good to check out everybody's ideas.

I’ll make this one!

Some of the rigs that showed up.

If I saw it sooner.... I learned about it when Evan, Pappy and I met and hung out at LHM Toyota after the event.

How does this social media stuff work? I just googled Desert Valley Overlanders and Adventure Travel Expo and neither had this on their Facebook pages.

Great turnout HDC, we represented well. There were far more Toyotas than other brands  We were hanging out in the "Toyota" section then everyone migrated to our section. I try to play well with others so after I created this post, I felt like I was being "clickish" but was happy to see all of us mingling and hanging out together as a group of Overlanders.

Are you on FB? If so, send this group a join request. My first post from that group shows the event so I'm not sure why your search didn't bring it up. It is a closed group so perhaps you have to be a member in order to see the event info?
