Overland Expo this weekend in Flagstaff

Overland Expo is this weekend. I'm going to head up there with Isabelle and gawk at the cool stuff that I can't afford I'm flying into ABQ from TX on Friday eve so we'll have to leave early Sat morning and return home on Sunday.

I had some grand plans to figure out how to get there this year.

....instead I get to spend a couple months locked up abroad (well, that sounds more dramatic than being cooped up in a La Quinta in St. Louis).

Steve, Justin, Isabelle and I hopped in the old soccer mom's car and checked out the show on saturday. As usual, lots of cool things to drool at and many DIYers coming up neat ideas for camping and wheeling.

We camped in style on this trip!

As you know, glamping is where it's at

I didn't take any pics, maybe Steve did. Lots of Unimogs were out there this year and those rigs are simply awesome to look at.

I cant believe you had to air down Ali, (first pic) was the terrain that difficult?
Did you just sneak in like we could have done last year or did you pay? Still jealous, wish I could have made it. Was there lots of new stuff or a lot of the same old gear?

We briefly thought about running the obstacle course with the LRs but didn't want to embarrass them

No sneaking in since we came in during normal hours.
