Hi Weber Sarge
Getting the front panel roof profile.
Not as hard as it seems.
Once the frame is made and fitted take a measurement to find center of the car/ windscreen.
Once found measure the height of the front face panel.
Move to the left or the right 10 mm and take another measurement . Repeat until you get to the roof gutter.
When all measurements are recorded transpose all measurements to a piece of cardboard.
Join the dots and you have the shape.
Cut and trim card board till you have your front panel shape.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

What size gauges are those in the stereo cutout on the dash panel? Did you enlarge that opening?

Thanks

Hi FJ 40 1978 and J French
In answer to your questions.
The frame is made from 16 mm square steel tubing and powder coated finish.
The front panel and speaker panel is aluminium 3mm and finished in 2 PAC enamel .
Gauges are the standard 50 mm cut out .
The PO had hacked the dash panel. I wanted gauges and decided I would try to mount them in the radio slot.
I was pleased with the result.
Cheers
