Thought it would be interesting to have a place to share some of the non-LC specific projects we've been working on while practicing "social distancing". Many of us might be teleworking or spending minimal time at our places of work and are finding more time to do those interesting projects that have always been on the list but we've never gotten to because of life.

My daily commute is only about 20 minutes each way, but it is amazing how much more time I have when that's taken out of the equation due to teleworking. Last weekend I was able to knock out a vertical smoker that I've been thinking about for a few months. Didn't take a lot of pictures during the process, but it is working great so far. I'll probably make a few tweaks this weekend and then be done with it.

I also picked up a used 20 gallon parts washer for $25 last weekend (pump is inop). Just trying to use up materials I have around the house, I decided to restore it a bit.

I'll pick up a new pump and get it running so I've got something a lot better than the 5-gallon bucket I was using during my knuckle rebuild :(

Painted the shed we built this winter. Still need to do trim.

Parts washers are great, right up until you have to drain and clean it. :)

For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to grab a a couple pallets of boulders and some more stone edging.

I've realized I need a parts washer. Looking for a cheap used one ATM.

I got my parts washer at Horrible Freight, have replaced the pump once. It was pretty cheap.

Bought kinda a pile of a lawn mower while deck was trashed, wish I would have taken more pictures but we ended up polishing the turd then rebuilt the deck with all new parts and I gotta say I’m pretty impressed with how well it did.
Still needs some new tires and a battery but way better than push mowing everything

I put on a storm door on the back door, tomorrow I get to remove all the railings and flip over all the cupped decking on the balcony.

Removed an old Sony head unit from my boat, replaced it with Wet Sounds EQ / zone controller with built in bluetooth. For whatever reason, they don't make it to fit DIN, or even 1/2 DIN, so with the help of @GLTHFJ60 's skills and voodoo metal cutter... Thanks again JC!
