Hope ya'all had a good session - look to Jim to post some pics of the insane rock garden bashing I did Saturday - two others broke axles - getting pretty hairy down here! The right side of the tub is toast, as is the hood - but it was so much fun driving sideways I just said to heck with it - gonna tub it anyways.:hillbilly:

Where are the pics Bill?

Al's girlfriend has most of the pics - go to Al's webpage at North Florida Cruiserheads (see club links) and look under trip reports. Really fun trip - not a lot of wheeling due to massive breakage on the two FJ60's (built and trail provent 60's too). I finally had a second shot at knuckle buster and after fixing a loose steering set screw walked it. Then towards the end of the day an hour plus rock rash extreme session in the rock bowls - tons of fun. I went plain nutty it was so much fun.

I'll post a few pics over when I have time...

Nice job on the body work. Looks like you'll be tubing your 40 soon too!

Hahahaha! Yes - tubbing the rear fenders and then running tube along the front fenders, new rocksliders, then along rear cut outs was in the cards - along with a new 2 person cage (pic on my desk as we speak). However, ripped up the the top rail of the right side (it looks like a wobbly line from the top).

I love full bodied cruisers - so I am now in the market for anyone who has a rusted out tub that I can cut off the top upper lip from the b pillar to the rear opening. Stoked about that project.

Hoping the Dana 60 works financially and width wise - if so, I'm doing what you did or an Atlas or STAK - next year - but am really starting to buy into that concept based on what I've gotten for feedback here.

You're tubbing your Cruiser, I was talking about tubing one, as in cutting off the back half of the body tub and running tube. Mine was already tubbed, the wheel wells went all the way up to the top of the body tub. I'm tubing it now!

Yeah - I understood what you said, just ran off on a tangent with my build plans. Is the top lip of your tubbed tub still good? I'd be interested in getting that from you for my project. I know that I'll end up cutting the rear off some day - but for now I still think I want the full bodied look - althought I had so much fun bashing those rocks that it might not be the best plan.

Let me know about your leftovers...
