Same thing I was saying, just leave out the highway part.lowtideride said:eh i dont think he cares to much about highway acceleration....but if you can rev the motor faster with a lighter flywheel and having silly low gears you would not have to worrry about stalling it. gets it? best of both worlds.

Bingocruzer said:you want a light flywheel and low gears so when you NEED to bump it or NEED accel you can do so...anyway guess you can always take it out and machine it some more if need be.

The cost of this as a spare is cheap insurance....further, is something that I would not think of not having with me if I were going out, especially if I had built my truck to run trails that I would need a Toybox and an Orion...along with spare front a nd rear driveshafts....steering components, axles, etc.
Guess it all depends on how much you hate being broke really....
Good luck!

So far I've been doing what I can to avoid breakage. Longfields (inners to), High steer, the Orion box. Drive lines could get interesting, lots of stuff you can share as a group, one of the advantages to belonging to a Land Cruiser Club. But drive lines seem to be pretty personalized.Poser said:You will figure out what you need over time of breaking things...
