I have cut an inch or so off the mount so that it did not go below the frame when I have installed this mount set up in other trucks before...no biggie.

Good luck!

Acording the the piece in Toyota Trails this month on a toy box install in an FJ55 they do now. I've had mine since March??? a while any way.coolcruiserfj40 said:i got mine a few months ago and didnt come with a mount
Good to know. I'd like to bolt the mount on because of the clerance issue with the gas tank reliefe in the floor pan. Guess I'll drill a new hole to replace the bottom one, not nearly enough beef after I trim the mount to hold a bolt.Poser said:I have cut an inch or so off the mount so that it did not go below the frame when I have installed this mount set up in other trucks before...no biggie.

I'm working my way up to bird crap welds.peesalot said:I like my bird s*** welds. I did my SOA , SR , bumpers , skidplates and all with a 110 Century with 75/25 and everyone says oh my god what bird s*** on your weld . Not one has failed , aint purty but aint broke yet either. I burn em in until I see melt on both pieces and if not I'll grind em and reweld it . Not the prettiest but they hold.

Don't mind if I do,Poser said:Looks good!
