Need to get several projects done on the house, this is the year. House was built in '95, cedar beveled siding over OSB with painted pine trim. Not sure on the order to do the projects. Need to:

* replace exterior trim around some of the windows
* pull siding off side of garage, find leak, replace some of the sheathing, put siding back
* replace a section of fascia/shadow behind a poorly installed gutter
* new roof*
* pressure wash siding, new coat of stain*
* wrap all fascia/shadows (eaves & rakes) with vinyl*
* gutters*

Items with * will be done by professionals, I'll do all the rest. Is this the proper order? There is a section where the roof intersects the siding, will need new step flashing, I assume the siding has to come off, it needs trimming anyway. I will probably pull it off ahead of the roofer so I can back-stain.

Any advice is welcome.

Hi KLF,

I'd start with the roof and work downwards. Sent you a PM with a couple of local contractors.

Agreed. Keeping a solid roof on a structure is paramount. Then foundation (which involves gutters, downspouts, proper soil grade) then siding and finally interior. It's all about managing water (at least where we live.)
