I need opinions. The ARB Bumper should be in any day now and I realized that I did NOT order any lights to go on the bar.

What are peoples options on this....Round or Rectangle?

I am thinking rectangle to keep with the same 'rectangle' theme..thoughts?

Round

Wow....why round if I have rectangle lights everywhere else?

Round. But it's all just personal preference.

Personally if I was buying a new set I would go for the Lightforce 240's with HID upgrade. Oh and there round.:smokin:

I am thinking of these:

IPF 900XS H.I.D.

thoughts?

I prefer certain Hellas (basically, 4000 series), but failing that my second choice would be IPF, then Lightforce. Cibie makes some good lights as well.

Round....Hella 4000 Xenon's !!
Square (:o)...Hella 2100 Xenon's !!

Did you purchase the round IPF's that fit in with the marker lights inside the bar ?

I think the IPF 900 XS HID would be a good light. :clap:I have IPF 940 SR fitted to my LC 200 with the ARB deluxe bar fitted. These lights came off my old LC 120 Prado GXL TD. As mentioned before if I was buying a new set I would definatley go with the Lightforce 240 HID 35W. Broader beam spread from the 247mm light, and lighter in weight.

Oh , and I have been told the Lightforce 240's will fit on the Deluxe bar.

Anyone ever hear the brand Marchal ? I think their logo was a cat...When my father got a 1980 Bronco I remember it had some Marchal fog lights as optional equipment..Just remember a black cats head on the light covers !! :hhmm:

IIRC, Cibie hadn't made aux. lights for years. They may still make replacement H1 and H4 lamps, but not stand alone lights.

Well, 'course, I haven't actually shopped for aux. lights in years... :D

But actually, they still make a number of aux driving and fog lamps, including the good old Super Oscar:
