I have a very unique 1989 fj62 that has been totally redone, all the way from the GM Corvette motor to new interior and paint And suspension front and rear bumpers sliders roof rack. Most of the work was done by man-a-fee and over $75,000 was put into the truck. I have documentation on almost everything and It's been over 6000 miles that Have been put on the truck since the transplant.
I am looking to sell or trade the vehicle and any help with pricing or where to start would be appreciated.
BTW, I have owned more than 10 Land Cruisers and this is by far the most fun of any of them
Thank you, Ben

Nice truck

If everything works, brakes, parking brake, all gauges, AC, the swap and wiring are top notch, and it's clean and leak free underneath, I would start In the $40's

I didn't see cruise, but it should be added. It's super simple.

Thanks for the reply, I'm not exaggerating on the quality of the job, ALL gauges work, the engine bay is beautiful. it has a 35 gallon gas tank (Lone Ranger) as well. The enterior is nicer than when it was new.
That's what I was thinking low to mid 40's. Obviously it is in a price range that will have a smaller market, but if someone is comparing buying a $20,000 62, then swapping in like this, money will be saved.

I'll look into cruise! Thanks

Looks like you have drive by wire. You can usually pick up the controller for under $50 and the stalk from rostra for under$40.

Cruise Control

If the Dorkel can be removed it would be worth more I think ;) What transmission is in it? Covering all that red wire snaking all over the place would make things look cleaner. I know you have put a lot into it but I am not sure mid 40's is realistic. Sorry just my opinion. As for listing I would put it everywhere I could, there is someone out there looking for this rig he just doesn't know it yet. Definitely add the cruise control if you can.

I certainly think it looks to be a very nice build but also doubt you'll end up getting over 40k for it. I can see it selling in the mid 30s to the right person but doubt it would jump off the shelf at that price. Fortunately it doesn't sound like you're in a hurry to sell which helps your case. From what I've gathered, the builds using non Toyota motors seem to take a huge drop in value no matter the amount of work done. Good luck with the sale however and thanks for sharing.

Bringatrailer has an auction service that exposes your vehicle to a wide variety of people and you might look into listing it in an auction there. I'd make sure you can set a reserve. I've bought one car off of BAT auction and it was no issue....probably a lot easier and safer than Ebay. Hemmings might be another place to consider listing because that exposes another group of people. Also Expedition Portal might be a good place to list.
